Getting around
- Island buses
- Just 50¢ per ticket. The bus stop is 50 m from the resort, and the route loops the whole island all day — Nelly Bay, Arcadia, Horseshoe Bay and back.
- Ferry from Townsville
- A 20-minute passenger ferry runs hourly from Townsville to Nelly Bay. Park at the terminal and walk on.
- On foot
- From the resort, the beach, cafés and the Forts Walk trailhead are all an easy walk or short bus ride away.

- Magnetic Island is accessible via ferry from Townsville. From the Nelly Bay ferry terminal, guests can travel by car, taxi, or bus. Detailed directions are provided prior to arrival.
- Property & terrain
- The resort is set within natural bushland with uneven ground, gravel paths, and natural surfaces. Some walking is required between tents and shared areas, and lighting is soft and minimal to preserve the natural environment. Guests with mobility considerations are encouraged to contact us so we can provide tailored guidance.
